War has broken out in the Seven Kingdoms. From small conflicts between long time friends, to open siege warfare in the country Tristan Vallius was entrusted with; Terum. A bold mercenary leader has seized control of the capital of Terum and while Tristan wages war to free his country from the shackles of oppression, a deeper conspiracy is taking form.
Meanwhile, now that dragon magic has returned, the elder dragons struggle to bring balance to the world. Bethis, a powerful youngling dragon has had her growth artificially accelerated in order to provide Terum with a patron to offset the ecological damage that continues to ravage that country. Even as she comes into her power, she and Tristan face a growing unrest to the north.
The remnants of the Draconis' Bane cult have found a new and much more dangerous leader who is more than willing to make alliances with the most lethal and murderous races known to the world of Amesdia. Time is in short supply and the fate of thousands rest on the shoulders of an inexperienced dragon and a deeply troubled Prince.

Deadly Intentions Blood Feud Book 2 eBook David Temrick

It reads like an unfinished draft. The text is rife with misspellings and grammatical errors. There are numerous incomplete or illogical sentences and paragraphs. The punctuation is atrocious. There is needless repetition ( e.g. the characters "chuckle" on every other page and in inappropriate situations). Much of the dialogue is painfully sophomoric and the characters mostly one-dimensional. Very disappointing.

Deadly Intentions Blood Feud Book 2 eBook David Temrick Reviews

Deadly Intentions compliments the first book in the story beautifully !! I thouroughly enjoyed the first book (Draconis Bane) and was all to eager to grab up the second!!
I'm looking forward to more from this author.
I would like to see more detail within the storys... perhaps a prologue before the first one involving dragons and the history behind them.

Keep cranking out these fantasy works !
I'm bias to midevil times and dragons so I found this extremely entertaining. My bestie gave this to me when he was done and I totally loved it. He's given me some real crappy books before. Bethis character was so imaginable and not to be a spoiler but never saw that coming.
This fantasy book is filled with suspense and adventure. The story takes place in the Seven Kingdoms where a war started. The war is between old time friends. The capital of Terum is occupied and Tristan tries to free it. This leads to a series of exciting adventures that keep you turning pages. The author does an excellent job keeping the reader in suspense.
This is a great book for fans of fantasy stories and/or readers that love stories set within medieval times. Prepare yourself for magic, dragons, brave warriors, and royal feuds as the saga continues in this sequel to Draconis' Bane. I personally love the fact that dragons are given credit for personalities, emotions, and a pride in their history instead of just being depicted as brainless, violent creatures of mass destruction.

This plot has great potential and could easily be a 5 star book if the editing was equal to the quality of the incredibly creative storyline.
I really wanted to immediately like this book, but got bogged down in the abrupt scene transitions which I guess may have been mitigated if I had read the previous book and knew all of the characters. The first twenty pages had multiple scene and time changes, thus the pace wasn't conducive to an easy read.

One glaring issue (easily corrected) is that the formatting is extremely poor, with paragraphs not indented or blocked with extra separation space. Sometimes it was very difficult to attribute dialog because of it. Also, a real copy editor needs to be deployed, I stopped counting standard typos early. Most of the issues were incorrect homonyms and what look to be auto-correct errors such as "don't ruin and old woman's pleasures..", but there were also missing apostrophes all over the text.

As a suggestion, I would recommend a rewrite that addresses the issues of pace and exposition (and the copy edit), as the story itself has potential in my opinion. Writing a book is hard work, a lot of time has already been invested here and it would be great to see that potential realized.
I've read both books by this author and they are very well written and kept my interest from beginning to end. I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for new releases from Mr. Temrick!
I chose a two star rating because of the poor wording and spelling in the book . The content is interesting however the numerous wording mistakes and misspell words is very distracting . I would suggest a rewrite to correct all the mistakes , then I would recommend it to others. I hope the next book is not riddled with the same problems. I'm debating whether to purchase the next novel .
