Well then, settle in and read The Affair of the Bloodstained Egg Cosy....What fun....what good writing..this is the classic British mystery at its best....an Agatha Christie look-a-like. It was packed with so much...clues, characters, satire, etc. that I needed a pencil and paper next to me to keep tract of everything and everyone....The characters are delightful and the ending is a hugh surprise......I double dare you to try to guess the murderer..... I was able to get this trilogy read before I gave it away as a Christmas present. I found it delightful!
If you love the "English Estate" who done it then this is the book for you. James Andersons easy read and great characters are the best! I am a huge mystery fan and I could not put this book down. A fast read and just plain who done it fun!!
Sort of your quintessential whodunit. A good companion by a winter fire and an excellent companion at the beach.
